VF Corporation, parent to major global brands such as The North Face, Vans and Timberland, are set to open a new central London office next spring, as they seek to strengthen trade relationships and fuel growth within the UK market.
They’ve signed a 10-year lease at the 15,000-square-foot Axtell Soho building in the Soho area of central London. The district known for its vibrant retail and entertainment scene, will play home to VF Corp’s London office, showrooms and design spaces.
Simon Tann from Levy Real Estate add’s: “Axtell Soho’s combination of leading-edge design, a Soho location, stunning offices, terraces and a rooftop garden space, were key to attracting an occupier of VF’s calibre.”
EMEA group president for VF, Marino Scabbia Guerrini believes that the new office will allow the business to be more closely connected to the market, and would become an important hub for the business: “We would like to bring the most advanced and innovative expression of our brands to the heart of London to strengthen trade relationships and fuel our growth in the UK market,”.
“The close interaction between this facility and our VF brand stores in Regent Street, Oxford Street and Carnaby Street will also create the opportunity to amplify and evolve the engagement with consumers.” The building, recently remodelled by Darling Associates architecture firm, includes a rooftop garden, outdoor terraces and art deco features.
