We have recently completed an office relocation of 1300 staff, into a new purpose built building in the centre of Glasgow, for a major international bank.
Our team completed the moves during the weekends over 7 phases, which included staff effects and associated filing. The moves commenced on Friday evenings, after close of the business, and the new workstations were set up and ready for the staff when they arrived the following Monday morning.
The team had to work efficiently to a strict time schedule, as we could not delay the opening of the office on Monday morning. All work had to be completed to a high standard before staff arrived, to prevent disturbing the businesses operating hours.
Prior to each phase of the move, new IT equipment was installed and tested to the proposed new workstations. Our operatives also installed all the FF&E items in the new office, as each floor was near to completion and ready for handover.
The decommission of the old IT equipment was also carried out, following vacation of their old areas for each phase.
